did u go into control panel>system>hard ware>device manager and disable the integrated graphics as previously stated?also y did u install 2 different catalyst control center things? since u download the newest drivers from ati's website, there is no need for the disk. Vesa drivers don't output my screens native resolution, so I would like to try and use the radeon drivers that were working perfectly. But how do I get the old X server and driver back? There is no option to change the driver.What the #$%& am I supposed to do?

radeon 9250, getting a blank screen when installed (3 replies) . I have changed the video option in cmos from pci to agp and have uninstalled the last video card software from this computer. I'm afraid I might have to dive into trying to make sense of race conditions, and they seem like a whole other ballgame. The resolution was back to normal again, but the same error messages came up, including:ATI REMOTE WONDER: Unable to load language resources.
But when close to end i.e. glxgears gave 624 to 685 FPS which seems quite reasonable. Also before it froze the other day, applications started being really slow. I tried to repeat the process by just rebooting and the black screen was back!
