The windows experience index rates the nvidia as a 6.3 and the ati as a 6.7, but the nvidia performed... I tried both an Nvidia Geforce 440 PCI and a Sapphire Radeon 9200 SE PCI, both to no avail. It seems to be Win ME driver, but WIN98SE and WinME seem to use same drivers. Thank you very much.

He has an ATI Radeon 8900 AGP card, so I looked up ATI's site and it only really suggested to install the catalyst. Please let me know if anyone has solution to this problem. Attempting to login resulted in an immediate logout, never seeing the desktop. I've tried booting from another disk and also driving my Dell flatscreen monitor using the DVI - VGA converter, so eliminating the digital cable and the monitor DVI input from the Nvidia cards detects if this pin is not connected and change video out from S-Video to composite. Has anyone solved this problem for him.
