wow, if you want to go through that trouble you are more than welcome to try it. Try running in safe mode to fix the problem. When I start the process begins, after about 1 minute (the end of writing track #1) I get a Bluescreen (see below). I've just been on to Microsoft support and mine is now sorted. I've got usbport.sys, subuhci.sys, but I dont have usbohci.
