In the mixer track you've armed to record vox, disable the feed to the master track. been a little while since i messed around with it short of cutting sound effects for videos. Like if you shot GLaDOS from Portal in the face with the deep sea drill from 007: Tomorrow Never Dies, that is EXACTLY the sound that would shriek out of your again, before we can give further recommendation, it will be good if we know exactly what kind of system you're running for the recording. I simply got a two-sided audio cable and plugged one end in the headphone jack and the other end in the microphone jack. I can just turn the speakers volume down..but that gets annoying after awhile. but it has to be tweaked so it doesn't distort and clip. Any other ideas? Just a thought: If I plug headphones into my computer would that do the trick? Then I can adjust the individual sends levels in the cans according to the vocalists preference for their mix without affecting what I'm hearing.
It is fine to if it is very short recording and no one else in the same room. All Rights Reserved. But it seems the recording volume depends on the speaker volume; if I lower or mute the speakers the recording level goes down or off accordingly.Is this just how life is, onto what, a cassette tape?
