In the mixer track you've armed to record vox, disable the feed to the master track. but it has to be tweaked so it doesn't distort and clip. Any other ideas? Just a thought: If I plug headphones into my computer would that do the trick? Then I can adjust the individual sends levels in the cans according to the vocalists preference for their mix without affecting what I'm hearing.

All Rights Reserved. But it seems the recording volume depends on the speaker volume; if I lower or mute the speakers the recording level goes down or off accordingly.Is this just how life is, onto what, a cassette tape?
