I suppose it is overkill...I like some of the Alienware systems but I know they are way overpriced. When I push the button to start it all I get is the cpu fan running full force and I mean like nothing I have heard before. Next step would be a BIOS/CMOS reset via button/jumper on the motherboard. So now it could either be a problem with the: CPU GPU motherboard I don't know anyone with a spare AMD CPU to test the CPU.
