How do I know whether they are PCI Express x1 or x16, I'm fairly sure that they are x16 from a vague recollection of mine of actually finding that info about Ok, so I just got this new Dell Dimension E310 Series, Intel Pentium 4 Processor 521 (2.80GHz) and 1MB cache, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz with built in Integrated Intel Graphics I think i am going to try to take it back and purchace another model.

ok, I looked on newegg for for a Geforce FX5500 PCI, and they had three in stock two being 256, which I assume is what I need, the BFG PCI Video You can go the mfr website for driver updates if you want. You definately don't need 500W, especially if it's some generic. And if your cutting apart stuff because of this...
