I have a usb hub that is not self powered and I have had same result using the non-self powered usb hub as with using the pci=routeirq boot option. I had to many windows open so it was going slow. I have now noticed that it doesn't beep everytime it freeze up. Any idea of what it could be? Freezing Issue I have an amd athlon 1. 4 processor with an msi motherboard unsure of which model. First everything freezes except for the mouse, then after a few seconds the mouse will freeze as well. Maybe a better hub would do better -- Iago says above that the built in hub of the Dell Ultrasharp monitor works well. Please let us know your results.
