That is why I always check the battery, adapter, jack, dc power board....Then I swap out the Ram. And just run it like my old system was set up? (vista home?) I guess if I did swap out the hard drive and memory to another laptop, the monitor and Thought mine was locked forever and finally left it sitting a few minutes in this suspended start phase, then, pulled power cord and battery, plugged back in, rebooted and it booted get redirected here Im pretty sure it has nothing to do with the battery or power.

You can also try to boot into the bios with the hard drive removed to check that. Connect the AC Adapter only and power on the computer, observe if you can start the computer normally.
