Thanks to the inactivity of micosoft I now have my life back. Gateway was ‘no' help. Recently i've noticed that my DVD ROM drive is missing. How is on the web and your motherboard maker's install instructions. click site

As a result of this the CD/DVD drives are nolonger recognised. This has had two effects 1)Ahead nero now fails to reconise that this drive writes, and will only read from it 2) After six months I am back to the gridning Thanks anyway.
