this worked for me. Even when I uninstalled it and restarted my computer, it says 'Found New Hardware' and 'New Hardware is installed and ready for use' it can't be found in My Computer. Now, right-click on the drive, select ‘Change Drive Letter and Paths’ option and then click on the Change button. Can this be fixed ?

I was using it mainly to store and backup my data and regularly connected it to my PS3 to watch movies. Loaded w8.1 and the drive was not recognized there. After I put it in the (IT-CEO IT-700) enclosure, and connect it to my new laptop it does not show up in 'My Cumputer' and 'Disk Management', but displays in the External Hard Drive Not Showing In Disk Management Any help is greatly appreciated. -Sudhir.
