If you don't need the data assign the optical drive to another letter, and partition and format the 240GB unallocated part of the drive that is showing. This helped me out alot! but now i have new problem: i can't install games or anything onto the harddrive. The only problem is that almost every manufacturer seems to distribute their drivers in floppy disk image form, even though the computer they are for doesn't have a floppy drive.
