This is not recommended for Gaming, Video Editing, etc. In another computer, I have a P4 2.8GHz. I'm not looking for "blow out" system here just about anything I buy will have to beat my oldish 850 (though I hate to replace it). These store-bought PCs may or may not have a power supply capable of handling high-end graphics cards so I advise sticking with midrange cards such as the nVidia 6600GT.
im sure its possible to make one of these tho, but then the graphics card would only work on that motherboard. So on the 128MB shared system only 128MB is left, which will quickly get eaten when you start editing or playing and will definitely not be enough. dirtmountainJan 23, 2009, 11:43 PM Fanless are best used with a system that already has decent airflow, most prebuilt systems (Dell, HP, Compaq etc.) have pretty poor cooling, for those i'd https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/how-much-video-memory-does-your-graphics-card-have-205802/ Anyway....so if I have AMD running at 333Mhz FSB is there ANY benefit to having DDR400 in lieu of DDR333?

But as you want photo, video editing and gaming potential this will become an issue. i think they would use the chipsets/microprocessors on the motherboard. AMD+ATI = 1337. this contact form P.S.

Discrete memory is about the same as dedicated memory. Now for a PC.
If you are an avid gamer I might have recommended 256MB video RAM, but 128 mb is still a very good amount especially if you only play games occasionally, or arent Is it a waste of money to buy DDR400 (what is the deal with this PC#### stuff...like DDR400 being PC3200 or whatever...more AMD nymshifting or what?). Not wanting to put a lot of money into this unit, I got a geforce 6200 for around 40 bucks, and I can now run aero fine. This is not a big dent on system RAM but every little bit helps, specially with Vista. If you are going with Vista, Buy a pc with at least 3GB of Ram, Despite its age, the Xpress 200 still produces pin-sharp graphics, more than adequate for what I use her for.
