I said i needed the data off the disk. Internal Hard Disk Not Detected In Windows 7 They haven't worked since I updated to Windows 10. All the ports are USB 3.0 and the drive was not detected with them too .The other ports are working (i use them for pen-drives ,mouse etc) ...the external drive works

After a lot of R&C (research and check) I found that seagate has announced if the drive doesn't work, one of the reasons may be the lack of sufficient watt or This especially true in external drives TB and up.
Normally, Windows does this automatically, but sometimes because of other connected devices, your external hard drive will be recognized, but not have any drive letter assigned to it.
