Avoid cheap, generic power supplies, which tend to be substandard. When it comes to power supplies, I've been going ultra cheap and no-name. Therefore, if the goal is efficiency, the selection of a severely oversized PSU to combat the issue is both economically and practically senseless. which is also why i said "personally".
