Sugaspank kindly invited us to join him, to double the funk.

No Band! Because of the summer there will be no bands, just DJ’s in the SJU every Friday. This means that the evenings start at 23:00 and last as long as you (and enough other people) stay. Perfect timing to end your day of summer fun (or hard work, for some of us), by going for a lazy skank or a sweaty groove with nice people at the SJU!

Also be sure to check other funky DJ’s this summer: Funkafied (july 17th) & DrawBar DJ (july 31st), MFF (august 7th).

This new set is different from everything we’ve done before. For this special occasion as part of the Utrecht Jazz Fest, we shared the floor not only with our shaking & grooving visitors but also with DJ’s Bounce & Izm. On the poster it said ‘Battle’ but in the end it was a nice collaboration in which there were 2 DJ booths flanking the dancefloor and five DJ’s spinning their funkiest and most danceable tunes.
