as you can see I think Im nearly out of options but Im not giving up & paying a techi YET!!!! So I figured that something is not being released in memory. My concern is you see nothing on the screen at all, which would make me believe there is either a problem with the video card or the motherboard. I then changed the cd-rom to see if that was the problem but the problem remains. But if this problem is happening when booting cold, then try my first suggestion and see if that helps.
