Actually, going way, way back to my very first laptop, a Zenith Z-180 with 640KB of RAM and a massive 20MB hard drive ;-), the internal AC power adapter eventually burned I checked some the pins on the PSU and got good readings for the 24 pin and the 8 pin needed for the mobo and the PCI ones that I'm using Nothing.
